LMS Services wins major energy transition project in Tunisia
The audio frequency ripple control receivers of the LCR family can be used with all ripple control systems (Landis & Gyr, AEG, ABB, Elster, ITRON) and with all common telegram systems (e.g. Semagyr, Decabit, Ricontic, EDF, etc.).

- Flexible wide-range power supply unit (60 – 230 V AC/DC)
- Intelligent routing and fallback functions
LMS Services supports tests and integration.
In order to accelerate the energy transition in Tunisia, the Tunisian electricity and gas supplier STEG is having 8 new substations built in an initial sub-project.
Together with the Indian general contractor Kalpataru Power Transmission, LMS Services is equipping the new buildings with modern control technology.
With both audio frequency ripple control systems and mobile radio-based control solutions, LMS Services enables the reliable and precise control of consumers, generators and street lighting.

With Lars Freier joining in February 2021, LMS Services is enlarging its footprint with a further industry expert.
Lars will predominently support LMS Services’ new solutions like the radio integrated Load Control Boxes (LTE, 450MHz CDMA) and the German Steuerbox according to FNN.
Consulting, Customer Support and Solutions Development will support our customers integrating LMS Services’ Steuerbox variants into their systems.
We wish Lars a great start at LMS Services and all the best with his new task.
We are very pleased to have won the 200th active customer in the ripple control business segment for LMS Services with Stadtwerke Saarbruecken, Germany.
This is gratifying evidence of the continued great importance of ripple control for network stability in Germany and Europe.
Of course, LMS Services also offers control boxes according to FNN for the connection to the SMGW and GPRS communications. However, due to the high demand in ripple control, LMS Services relies on extensive support for this reliable and secure technology for at least the next 10-15 years.
